warranty expires 5/5/03, but is not currently in my name. The warranty is in the name of the person from whom I bought it. In order to recieve support, you need only call up dell and present them with this information... I am currently working to transfer the warranty to myself, then to whoever buys this, but it turns out that the original purchaser financed the laptop, and the warranty cannot be transferred until after it is paid off. Once that occurs all it takes to transfer ownership is a small online form.
