I have an AT case with a PC chips board (video sound and maybe modem onboard)
The case has an 8x cd-rom, and a 1.2 gig drive.
I can stick a cel 366 in a slotket in it, and 64 megs of ram.

I'm thinking $150 plus $25 to ship it...

what kind of price range is cheap to you? You can probably work some sort of pickup with me so it can be that much cheaper if you want. I have a few systems that might work for him, but it's depending on what you think of as cheap.

P150
24MB RAM (or 32MB or 64MB if wanted)
1.2GB hard drive (or 4.3GB or 5.1GB drive if wanted)
24X CDROM (i think)
1.44MB floppy
1MB video (i think)
no sound, no modem
desktop AT case
kinda dirty AT keyboard
2 button serial Microsoft mouse

it works perfectly fine. I'm using it as a fileserver right now. i can probably find a 56k winmodem to throw in (good ones and cheap ones) for a little more. somewhere around $75 pickup? we can talk if needed. i also have some 450MHz systems if interested, but those are more like $200 or $250 or something like that (gotta spec em out first).

LMK.

Got a Pentium system:

- Pentium 233 overclocked stable to 266 (running that way for 2 years)
- 64Mb SDRAM (1-64mb stick, Crucial PC100)
- Maxtor 2.4 Gb
- Memorex 36x CD
- Creative Blaster 56K modem
- Yamaha OP3-SAx sound card
- Matrox Mystique PCI video card
- 2 USB & 1 PS/2 ports
- MS PS/2 Wheel mouse (black version)
- Keyboard
- Win98 (cab files on HDD), MS Office. Winfax.

Mobo is an ATX socket 7 made by FIC. Case is a standard mid-tower ATX with 250 watt power supply. 3 5-1/4 bays, 2 3-1/2, 2 3-1/2 internal. Nice case, no sharp edges. Case is clean.

Quaility components - this was my wife's office system until she went to a lappy a couple of months ago. System's been solid as a rock.

I'll toss in a Voodoo2 12mb with it if you want (it was in there for a while, took it out, but I can put it back in).

$250 shipped.

---------------------

Also have a Celeron system:

- Celeron 533 Mhz
- Mini ATX case, 225 watt
- PC Chips M726MRT Socket 370 / Slot 1 (takes either) mobo (Intel BX chipset - should take Coppermine)
- 64Mb SDRAM (1-64mb stick, Crucial PC100)
- Seagate 4.3Gb
- Creative 48X CD
- onboard sound
- onboard 56K modem (riser card)
- Trident 2Mb PCI video
- 2 USB, 1-PS/2
- MS USB Wheel Mouse
- Keyboard
- Win98SE (cab files on HDD), Word 97
- All slots and bays are full except the AGP slot but due to the design of the case, you can't use the AGP slot.

- case, mobo and CPU are brand new

$300 shipped.

I'll also consider trades.

I have a Dell optiplex GS, upgraded to a P200 mmx cpu, 64 mgs edo simms, cd-rom,floppy, intel 10/100 BT nic, 2 mg onboard video, 3 PCI, 3 isa slots, add HD, sound card, modem you've got a rig, $75 plus whatever shipping would be

btw, these are rather sweet systems, just built one for a family member, I threw in a 4 mg pci card and an older Creative pnp sound card, Win98 recognised all devices and installed all drivers, the cd-rom drive is a good reader, read all black memorox media, silver media and blue/green media,he's now ready for the cable modem guy :)
