I have never gone through so much trouble to get a DVD movie. I went to Fry's this weekend and showed the cashier the ad for Circuit City since it was only $16.99 there. The idiot told me I needed to go to customer service to get a price adjustment. I asked him why he couldn't do it. He just kept repeating like dumb f$^% that I needed to go to customer service. Customer service had a line about a mile long (it is where returns are handled) and there was no way in hell that I was going to stand in line for an hour just to get a price adjustment. I was also late for a dinner with my roomate so I just took off.

The next day, I went to Best buy since they had it on sale for $19.99. It turns out that since it isn't officially released until Tuesday, they couldn't sell it to me.

My last try was at Circuit City. I went there and quickly located "The Kid". I also got "The Mummy" since it was a good movie to test out my new receiver. When I got to the register, the cashier told me they couldn't ring me up with a cc cause their computers were down. This made me so mad. I was walking around looking for something to make the time go by but since it was almost closing time, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get the movie. In the last few minutes, the computers came up and I got my movie. Whew.

I hate going to worst buy and only do anymore if there's something I want that's on sale that I know the price of. You ever ask any of their lazy employees a price of any of the many un-priced items? They always tell you to go to customer service. Duh, then one look at the long and seemingly not moving line encourages me to just leave as quickly as I can.

I also picked up Da Kid today at circuit city. Usually when walking to the DVD section I get asked by at least 2 salesmen if they can help me. The normal "Yeah, ya know where da swedish bikini babes are?" usually stops them cold, hehe. Today I just zipped in and zipped out. That I like. :)

hehe, at least now you can enjoy da movoie pidge. ;) I think we've all had similar hassles.
