Sharp Laptop --Only $175 Shipped!!!!!

Post by vwkess »

Finally getting around to putting these up, just about the last of my laptops. Can't use anything in trade right now, just need some $$! :) As always, open to offers if you think its too high.

Sharp 9030
P120
16MB RAM
Floppy and CD-ROM (swappable)
11.3 Active Matrix (800x600 or 1024x768 virtual)
1GB HD
Intel Pro 100 NIC
USR 28.8 XJACK modem
Battery and A/C adapter (unsure of how long it holds a charge)

Excellent shape. This was a Sharp refurb. No OS installed (haven't had the time). You can read more about it here: http://www.zdnet.com/pcmag/features/not ... crev22.htm

$175 shipped

Hmm....about the middle one (too lazy to scroll down and get the model number :D ) - any way you can get some pics of it for me? I'm thinking of downgrading a bit from my current lappy so I can get some money back into my bank account.

Also, is there any way I could persuade you to power it on and test the battery life? I want to be able to take it to a class that is about an hour and a half long, so it might be helpful to know if I am going to have to find a second battery for it. If you don't have the time to put an OS on it and test the battery, that's fine.

Humm....maybe I should go ahead and call dibs :)

I don't have a pic of the actual laptop, but if you click on the smart computing article, it has a nice pic of one. The last time I actually used the laptop was about a year ago; the battery would last just over an hour. All of these batteries seem to be holding a charge, but they are getting old! :)

Oooh, oooh, oooh, one more question :D "3Com NIC": what model? Also, 10bT or 10/100? To precede the answer, if it's a 589 or a 10bT, can I persuade you to lower the price just a bit to exclude it?

I'm pesky, aren't I? :E

Well, it may take me a week or so to drum up the cash, but if you're willing to hold it for me, I will gladly buy the 5060X off of you. I am on the verge of trading my current laptop for someone's server, which I will likely part out and sell, upon which I'd buy that from you. If you would do me that favor, e-mail me (it's in my profile) to let me know. Thanks!

You know every time I browse the forum vwkess is selling another laptop he dragged out of the closet. It kind of sounds like they are procreating in the darkness of the forbidden closet. Bump for some portable lovin'.....
