For those that don't know, I have been battling with Paypal for 3 months to get my account unlocked and get my money back. While the amount of money was not huge, the principle of them taking my money was there, so there was a wron doing. Anyhow I was prepared to go to small claims court over this matter. I emailed the Paypal guy that frequents Anandtech and told him that I was going to take the matter to court if he didn't help me. After dozens of calls to customer support, I got my money out of there. It all happened in less than 18 hours after sending the email.

Society still has power, and I can now say that I won over Paypal (yay!).

personally i've never had a problem with paypal, but good for you man. i mean at least i know that the "MAN" will never stop me. I really see paypal becoming more like a bank, kinda like what etrade did, and well a bank really shouldn't treat their customers like that. Thats BS man, so hopefully they shape up or else well they probably wont be able to be a very good bank

If there was a comparable service to paypal, everyone
would be there in a second. NO one wants to deal with
paypal's lame customer service.

It just sad they're the only one (decent) that's why
they do what they feel like...bunch of crooks.
If a competitor were to steal their business, then you
will see some major changes else they go will belly-up.

personally, I'd say it was your individual power, **** society ;) Society has no rights greater than the individuals who make it up ;) Great job! :)
