its pretty nice, a mobile p3 600, 14.1" tft, 8x DVD! all i lack is suffient storage and ram on the thing now. please email or post if u have extra lappy equipment!

before i finally take a nap, i just want to point out to anyone else who is searching for laptop memory, crucial has their 128mb pc100 cas2 stuff on sale for 76.49$ shipped with the 15% web store discount. still, id preffer to trade my stuff for the ram if someone has it! goodnite everyone, see u again in a few hours

ill give the official word on if its being parted out tonite, so u can start asking for what u guys want, but ill say right now, its leaning towards being gutted!

really, the only things i havent herd asked about specifically, are the 18gb 10rpm scsi drive and controller card, the 2gb 7.2k rpm scsi drive, and the 6x slot scsi dvd. does anyone want that stuff?

Looks like a real nice laptop, congrats, just be careful with new sellers with no feedback and payment, makes me nervous. Also does that cpu need all the crazy cooling to hit 1 gig, and what does it do with just the alpha, might be interested in the cpu/hs/fan if the price is right.

yeah, im gonna try to take extra measures to ensure the transaction is completed faithfully, its not like im dealing with a PCA/old AGNner here!

the duron can do 1ghz @ 1.85v with the alpha, no extra cooling measures necesarry. however, with the 118 watt peltier, chrystler heater core, and a tray full of ice, i was able to make it at 1050 completely stable

im thinking $100 shipped for the cpu and fan ought to do it, lmk.

Hey vidman, it is indeed a pc power supply and if it could power an AMD @ 1ghz with a 118 watt peltier, lots of big fans, 3 7200rpm drives, 2 SCSI CD drives, a GF2 and 6 pci cards, i dont think youll have any troubles with this unit

how about $185 shipped and of course ill include the warrenty card so u can claim on the 5 year warrenty. i can include a link to the manufacturer if youre interested.
