laptop is in "like new" condition, no scratches, well taken care of.
1 minor issue is the hinges for the screen are getting loose, but if your not walking around with it, the screen will stay in the position you put it.

Damn nice price. I have a 715US and the hinge thing is normal. Mine has an Athlon4 1.2GHz and a CDRW/DVD. I'm surprised yours hasn't sold yet.

Can the hinge be fixed? how bad is the shimmy in it? not bad, I just wanted it to be known ahead of time

How's the performance quality with DVD and Divx?
DVD is very smooth, Divx will lag about 3 times through a movie if on the HDD. If it is on a cd,external USB2.0 drive, or over network is is very smooth. go figure ?? 4200 rpm hard drive i guess ??

What's the Max Memory it can take? 384

interested in a AMD duallie in trade? I am build this system to sell soon.... YES, depending on video and HDD :)

The hinges are not to the point that they need fixed.
I just wanted to point it out so it wasnt a suprise when someone got it in the mail.
If/When they do need replaced i have seen them on E-*** for 40.00
it is a common thing for this model to get loose hinges.
