WTB: Small, cheap hs that can support a 1.33 tbird...

Post by Sean »

Looking for a heatsink for my parents. I'd like to get something that would support an 80mm fan, but whatever someone offers. I'd like to keep the tbird under 60 C when oced to around 1.4 :)

It would be pretty cool if I could find a used AX7. :)

Let me know!

Thanks!

BTW: If interested in trading, please check out my thread here: http://www.pcabusers.net/forums/showthr ... adid=27467

Note: I made a new thread cause I thought this would go faster. ;)

My only question about that would be if it would actually keep my tbird cool. :)

I found the SK7 at SVC for $16 before shipping, not a bad deal. http://www.svcompucycle.com/thersk7socco.html

However, does the AX7 cool better with lower RPM fans than the SK7 does?

I've used SK-7 and it is very good, and I think the AX7 is very close in performance.

I would like to think the SK7 being all copper would cool better versus the AX7 being Alu , IMO
