i find a good mirror

i d/l the file all right

but when i try to burn it to a cd it saids

"the entered block size dose not correspond to the image lenght. the block size may be wrong"

what dose that mean and can i fix it?

Downloadable ISOs of SuSE can only be run from CD. If you want to install to your hard drive, you need to buy it.

did u md5 sum it to make sure it was alright?? i usually check that as soon as i get it dl'ed. i've had one or two before where the stuff didn't match.

i try to run that file but it comes back a text doc

ya. basicly it just checks to make sure the iso is ok to write ( i beleive??) u should be able to open that text, and make sure its says its ok. if it does, and it obviously didn work, then wtf, lol.

hey karch, i just dl'ed and burned it. i will test it on an unused HD here, and make sure it works. if it does, email me your addy, and i'll get it out hopefully monday.
