i guess i didn't explain the warplink wireless networking stuff very well, lol. basicly its a pair, 2 nics that simply plug into usb ports.

now NOL1M1TMAN, to answer ur question...

im sure that the warplink and linksys networks would see each other, as they both use the 802.11b networking scheme. however i would like to point out that the pci adapter must have a pc card. the adapter is just something that goes into the pci slot. the card then slides into the adapter, sticking out some 3-4 inches from the back of ur comp.

the warplink however has a 2-3ft cord, so u may place it wherever u like, cord permitting. i know this sounds like mumbo, so if i can get my digital cam working, i'll send ya some pics.

Linksys is compat with all windows versions
pci adapter - http://www.linksys.com/download/driver.asp?dlid=49
pc card - http://www.linksys.com/download/driver.asp?dlid=68

warplink is also compat with all windows versions
drivers on cd are 95 and 98 only, 2k and XP can be found here
warplink usb - http://www.wneweb.com/support/download.htm

hope this helps, lol

How thick is that laptop drive (in millimeters)? I need something thin to work in my USB case.

Thanks,
Mickey
