I had a COMPAQ Presario 1700 motherboard die on me and purchased a new laptop to replace this one.
Therefore I am parting out the good parts from this laptop.
Some are generic parts some are 1700 specific.

DVDrom $80 (this is for the model 1700 Presario's, swapable kind with floppy)

3 1/2 Floppy $60 (this is for the model 1700 Presario's, swapable kind with DVD)

PIII750 SL44T Mobile CPU $100

128Meg Compaq 144pin SODIMM SDRAM PC100 8ns 3.3v CL=2 $30

128Meg Crucial 144pin SODIMM SDRAM PC100 8ns 3.3v CL=2 $30

(2) Batteries for Presario 1700 $75 each

14" LCD Screen TFT with Frame $150
