You don't need good aerodynamics when you burry the needle at 25mph :D

Actually it is called the Chappo. Nissan calls it their "living room on wheels"; you can surf the web, watch movies etc. The seats can be moved around inside the the steering wheel retracts into the dash.

surf the web?

The only really new idea I see there is surfing the web (driving?). Do you know how, like cell phone (ca-ching!) or satelite?
I know that day is coming though, can hardly wait :( when our customers will drive in for maintenance or repairs and complain about their onboard PCs problems as well. I'm thinkin' alot more $$$ per hour however :)
People think that there's problems now with cell phone use in cars but just wait until they can surf while driving too. We've already had a customer complain that she thought her cars alignment was off because she was having trouble controlling the car while she was using her laptop and cell phone at the same time while driving. Scary.
Maybe the auto-pilot was off ;)

I guess it is wireless access; ala Ricochet or something like that. That was about the only info I ever saw on this car. Read about it in an issue of Automotive Engineering a couple of months ago. The car was unveiled at the Geneva auto show. As far as watching movies and surfing the web goes; I think they meant while the vehicle was stationary. The steering wheel retracts to make more interior room and you can arrange the seats however you want. Supposed to be a "social car"; the roof is mostly glass as well. Me-thinks it would get mighty toasty in there!
