That cash truck driver was amazing. Cool as a cucumber. Looks like he did a PIT maneuver and then crossed a median. If you read the article he apparently got way ahead of the crooks, and waited for them with the rifle, but by that point they had had enough. The escort vehicle had been firing on the crooks while this was all going on. I'm not so sure that would have gone as well with a traditional armored car. That thing had some serious legs.

Crazy shit. The driver, who actually is their head of firearms and driving training, explains what happened in detail. The robbers were using cell phone/radio jammers. Also, it was his partner's 4th day on the job, and this was approximately fifteen minutes into that day's shift.
