Ill pay to send a car carrier down to load up on them for a lifetime supply of cars for myself and friends. I still have a TDI (2003 Beetle) with 270k and I am starting to worry about the body not outlasting the drive train.

And I don't know what I would buy to replace it. nothing else on the market has that "thing" that interest me. I would go with a hybrid but I don't like how the ECUs operate the car.

Well the new engines had their issues (other then cheating) with the HPFP eating itself due to bad fuel. I blame gas stations in the US as the exact same Fuel pumps in Europe had no issues. Most stations don't even display the cetane rating of the fuel being sold.

We have one of these (smaller) right across from my work. Thousands of cars. I also saw one in Pueblo, CO and it had tons of cars.
