Looks like there were a few full stops right after stop signs that looked to be bad moves on the cars part.

I'm guessing that was supposed to go in the Tesla thread? Yeah, it seems overly cautious but frankly I'm amazed we can write code that allows a vehicle to navigate rural roads with any kind of reliability. There was that one time when it stopped and then crept ahead because there were pedestrians on the right side and a very narrow shoulder. That impressed me more than anything.

I can honestly say that I would not mind an autonomous vehicle. I still want the option of driving for fun, but if I just need to get somewhere and I'm tired or concerned that I've drunk more than I should, or want to send the car to pickup someone, that would be nice.
