Re: Rewind to 16yrs old again
Really excited for your build as it's going together! I am hoping to be done with my motorcycle soon so that I can start on my 57' T-Bird.. It's a bloodline car.. Been in the family since 1962 and I'm 35 and I've never driven it.. ;\ Hoping that my 36th B-Day present to myself can be driving my car for the first time. haha..

Re: Rewind to 16yrs old again
Well Christmas came early for me.
Howards roller lifters (solid)
Howards billet roller cam .600/.600 245/255 @ .050 lift 106LSA 102ICL
Lunati roller rockers 1.5 7/16, ARP studs to match
Howards 10 degree locks and retainers
Kmotion 1.550 double roller springs
Manley severe duty 2.08" intake valves .080" longer
Front 4" rims
Painless 8 switch panel and harness
clevite bearings rod/main
Eagle forged I beam 5.7" rods
Eagle forged crank 3.48" stroke
Edelbrock Super victor 4500 flange
QFX 12 hole skirted annular boosters
Speed pro moly ring set
Tubular upper/lower control arms
Holley quick change bowl kit
QFX 3 circuit billet metering blocks
manual disc conversion kit for front
Oh and a roomba 770 for the wife lol.
Now I can make some forward progress! Fig about $850 in machine work, then gotta get a pan gasket, head gaskets, timing gear drive, and a few other tid bits.
Will have to fly cut the pistons but they have plenty of meat in them.

glad gas came down since you've been working on it It is really a huge piece of work.
Re: Rewind to 16yrs old again
It's really coming along. Again, I enjoy seeing the steps of restoring a car. Hopefully you won't find anymore Bondo filled dents that need cut out and repaired. I really like the sump on the gas tank too.

Been there, done that.. Boy it's no fun! My brother-in-law and I spent like 2 hours bleeding/testing trying to get the pedal right before we figured out that the calipers were reversed. lolKey Keeper wrote:Always install calipers with bleeders up btw....well unless you want to loose your mind trying to get a firm pedal when bleeding them...
