It's one thing for the rest of the world to have way cooler trains than us. America has chosen car culture, for better or worse. But now comes word that the Netherlands is building way awesomer highways, while ours are stuck in the 20th Century. The Netherlands! If this isn't a wake-up call for the United States to invest more in infrastructure, I don't know what is. (OK, maybe this.)

Cool stuff, but we can't fix the potholes and about half the bridges are "shaky."

way things are with computer technology. I see this as possibility with are car doing the same thing as we drive them down the road -not the charging of electric cars do.

Won't happen here. Too much land, too many roads and more cost when we already can't keep up with repairs.

As for snow flakes when cold, my 2 Volvo's a have red lights that come on (next to the outdoor temp guage) when temps are at a point where roads could be slippery. These are 20 yr old cars too so why do we now need snowflakes on the roads too?
