Probably.

Description:

Police patrol cars are put to the test, from high-speed chases to roadside emergencies, and the Greenfield Police Department is finding the brawn of the car can be overshadowed by looks.
Related.

Police cars in Wisconsin come in a variety of distinct designs, colors and shapes, including those of the Greenfield police.

"It's actually a regular patrol vehicle," said Officer Les Piotrowski, of the Greenfield Police Department.

Greenfield police's 2012 Subaru STI was donated by Schlossman Subaru for the police department to use for three years.

"It's equipped with a radio. It's got a full light bar. It's got full police capabilities," said Piotrowski. "We use it for special events, speed enforcement seat belt grants, OWI enforcement."

Greenfield's patrol car is the same type of car the U.S. Rallycross team drove in 2012, and though the police' version is dedicated to stopping people from speeding, it's also become a great tool for public relations.

"It's probably the only squad car I've heard somebody ask to be stopped in," said Piotrowski.

The special cruiser and other hot cars are featured at the Greater Milwaukee Auto Show until March 3 at the Delta Center.
