how fast do you have to travel and hit a pontiac G6. to knock its motor and trans right out of the car ? the car that hit it was the red chevy Impala seen in the picture across the roadway .

Surprised nobody got killed. That could have ended much, much worse.

All I can say is.. Damn..

The car coming apart is probably what saved them. However, the were traveling really fast to shear those bolts in order to remove the entire front assembly.

I've seen an engine laying in the road after an accident too, many years ago. Don't know what the outcome was from that one.

i once seen a a chevy chevette
get turned into a cube .by a guy rear ending it driving a dump truck hauling a back hoe.and the guy somehow made it out the drivers window without any major cuts or broken bones . the car was turned into what looked like a 4x4x4 cube ready to be drop into a smelter. the 2nd worst reck i remember seeing the aftermath of was a mustang or Mercury Cougar that was rip into two right at the firewall were the fenders meet the doors . not sure if the people in it live or got hurt or what as i only seen the car after it happen and it hit a street light pole. sheared the car in half . the motor was broke away from the trans right at the bell housing .
