GM /ATDS just requested my wifes car !

GM just requested me to loan them my wifes 2008 Saturn Vue for Emission Performance Testing .
NOT A BAD DEAL - they will give us a brand new loaner car with a full tank of gas .pay us $300 for are car .return are car with repaired free of charge of any defects found. they will put no more then 80-100 miles on it. and return it to us with a full tank of gas. we can use the loaner and put unlimited miles on it .

Interesting... Are you a GM employe? I would imagine they would have some in their fleet to test... I wonder why all of a sudden they need to check this?

not employed by them at all pugsley but it is a government requirement they retest so many autos after they are released sold) to the the general public is my understanding. to make sure they keep the emission standard set when the car was first released.

LoL! I would love to find one of these to replace my current commuter car, but they're not easy to find for what I feel is a good price. Although my 2000 Accent does get ~35mpg mixed hwy/city traffic, I'd love to see 45-50 lol
