ABS idiot light problems

to start light came on code showed rear driver side sensor was defective - $55 for the part from auto parts . new pads all around plus 2 rear rotors and alls good I thought. a couple days later light come back on again .this time no codes given. so the wifes 2008 vue is at the dealership today.drop it off at 8 AM today and waiting to hear whats going on. car has only 42,000 miles on it. last time I took it in for a minor repair it turned into a 3 day a fair with us getting a free rental and the dealership dropping the trans/motor out to replace some seals they found leaking.
kind of lie and said hearing a rumble in the front wheels .hoping to have the front bearing replaced so it be covered under warranty. not really lying I do hear a noise from the front rotors. but that was because i didn't turn the front rotors when i did the front brakes a month ago and theres a bit of a rust lip build up.
keeping fingers crossed its not going to cost us a ton. i understand there is a problem with the ABS brake wiring harness getting shorted due to rubbing on the frame and grounding out. sweating a bit right now hoping its not a big repair bill.

I had mine in for warranty work - they replaced starter motor and then told me the reason that the tire pressure light stayed on was because the spare only had 19 psi....as in the spare that is stuck to the rear door of my Rav4 - who woulda thought that was monitored?

Pretty soon you'll be monitored.

If it's a real full size spare on the same rim that the rest of the tires are on, it should/would have the TPMS installed.. Funny huh? lol

final cost $150 - there was like 1 ft or less of wire corroded the lf wheel bearing hub and ABS senser replaced. guess they had to do the hub twice as one bearing they installed was defective right out of the carton. (normal for my luck )reason i beleave this is my friend is the heavy tech for the shop .but he's not the one that worked on my car this trip in there.
also had to pound a heavy build up of rust off the driver side rotor .this I was aware of before I brought it in for repairs.all seems well now ! did find out the DBSC scans you buy online or in a auto parts are only able to read basic codes. (im sure the Snap On units would do better )there were 3 on my car that the unit I used didn't pick up at all before I took it to the dealer for service.
