I all most want to register just to post the wagon with +300k and not a single problem even with driving it like the op on occasion.

Ok.. A few of my favorite retarded excerpts..
"When left up to the automatic transmission, it shifts gears around 20 times per minute." Really? Somebody doesn't know WTF they're talking about..
"Jesus would drive a manual (if he were real)."
"Take a trip to Alaska or Canada. Your prius will get stuck in 1" of snow and you'll die waiting for someone to come dig you out. "
"That's how it's supposed to work, dumbass."
So much fail!

...did I really just read that _entire_ thread? I think I just did. What the hell was I thinking? >.>
On that note: 2004 Honda Accord - 200K miles, no issues.
1996 Ford E-150 - 350K miles, no issues. Original engine and transmission on both. Automatic on both. Idiots on Anand? Check.

I un-registered myself from that site years ago just so that I can't post (at least not w/o re-registering). That guy's a tool but he's also apparently a regular there with over 9300 posts (small time there really) and they just chew him up. He does deserve it though, no doubt.
Most posts there just fall into the melting pot and I doubt many even pay attention or care really, it's all about trying to get in the last word. I like the guys with multiple quotes in their sigs and those who always quote out the whole thread everytime. I think the average age is ~16 but they all make at least $200K a year and drive cars that cost about $60K or so....sure

I skipped to page 6 today (missed a few myself) and the guy just keeps digging himself in deeper. If I ever posted anything that dumb, I would have just shut up early once realizing that it was a losing battle.

That's actually true. I work in transportation and we intentionally accelerate trains at about 5-10% slip. If we worked with 0% slip, the thing would take forever to speed up.
Is this guy crazy... now he is comparing slipping trains with steel vs steel traction to cars with rubber vs snow traction. If you spin a wheel on a locomotive you just don't move and DESTROY the wheel and track. I don't know what equipment he supposedly runs, but everything has "traction control" now.
God this guy is an idiot.
