toyota recalls more units !

Post by renovation »

just heard they are having to recall there 2010 TACOMA for a defective front axle spider gear !
talk about having the crap kicked out of you.

what will it take for them to recover from all these recalls .and it not just here in the states but world wide .
and then you have to wonder how they can figure out fixs so fast for problems . when it takes them a min of 4-5 years to design a system ?
also when there being hit with so many diffrent problems and on so many diffrent models of cars and trucks :bang .
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help

Maybe they are using windows LOL. j/k

I heard that the cars coming off the lines these days are so complicated, that they have computers doing a lot of the necessary adjustments as you drive. Maybe we should go back to the old VW bug days of the 60's.

Realistically, ALL car manufacturers have campaigns and recalls often. I've been doing things like that for 30+ yrs working in dealers. Campaigns are when the manufacturer notices and repairs the vehicle voluntarily and a recall is when the government forces the manufacture to do it, usually safety related.
Also, GM, Ford and Chrysler have had more recalls over the years than most imports. People are forgetting than now because due to our economy, many people want to do harm to Toyota.
Realize too that no one company makes perfect cars, they all have some sort of problems, usually due to poor part quality because one part supplier was cheaper than their competition and thus got the contract.

They probably outsourced the manufacture of the gears to china... see what happens.
