just settling in after a trip to the dealership. i picked up a Lexus IS350. pretty happy about this one...i didn't intend on buying this type of car (i wanted more of a sports car rather than luxury), but it was one of those "deals" that i couldn't pass by.
long story short...it's a 2007 model (still NEW...350 miles on it) that was still on their lot. i lowballed them (and by lowballing i mean BADLY). ended up getting the car for $8400 UNDER MSRP. arty
so, for ~$6000 under MSRP after taxes, title, plate transfer, and all maintenance to 50k miles included...i was out the door.
lol. i'm confident that is a good price for what the car is. mile
woohoo!

get those pics up ASAP, ego! haha
i'm looking forward to cleaning it up tomorrow. it's decent, but the "detailers" at the dealership leave something to be desired. the car was built in July 2007, so it's been sitting outside for a year...definitely needs to be clayed and lightly polished to remove the dealer installed swirls. the wheels are filthy with brake dust. inside just needs a wipedown and some protection added to the leather/dash. can't wait!!

hehe I am still learning the whole detailing thing.. My dealers also did a crappy job detailing it when I bought it. Mine is also an 07, it has a lot of light surface scratches that I'd love to get out, but scared to tackle that myself lol
