anyone heard if GM to stop Leasing cars

i heard Chrysler has and my inlaws are looking to release in the next month or two.?
Are you kidding? I'd think that an auto company who opts to stop leasing cars can expect certain failure these days as many people only lease cars.
The story is true (googled) but I think their days are limited.
