Cold Air Intake vs Short Ram Intake???

looking at the both options but not sure what are the pros and cons of each???? Is there any brand that gives u better results for both, or it doesnt matter?????

SRI's have a very short distance between the throttle body or MAF and the filter; good for wet/winter because there's less chance of sucking up water. It does pull in warm air from the engine bay though.
CAI, as you may have guessed, is typically a lot longer and positioned so that it grabs cold air from somewhere, usually down low.

SRI - great for low to midrange power, since it's by the engine, the air you suck in will be hot
CAI - great for mid to high end power, positions filter closer to bottom of car which runs the risk of sucking in water or dirt (aem makes a cheap bypass valve to fix any accidental ingestion of water)
imo, dont waste your money on any intake over 100 bux, you can make a decent one for cheap, I cant justify dishing out 300 bux for the "name brand" ones.
