A guy at work bought a 2001 Yamaha R1, the crazy bastard let me take it for a spin around the block... LOL I tell ya that bike don't hesitate to hit 100mph between big city blocks... He already owns a Ducati(sp) 600... thats a nice bike its older but he says its damn near as fast as the R1 he bought. He use to race around the NW here and is a pretty good rider. I haven't ridden much and its always been street bikes... The day i buy one its gonna be a big ass cruiser and it won't be a Harley... i'm sorry but the noisethose makes gives me a friggin' headache! Probably get one of those Polaris Victory's or a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500

Yeah if i had to own rice i'd want a Skyline all the way... those things are sweet as hell... I'd even take a honda S2000 that was stock. I'm more into the Euro car thing.... Give me a BMW Porsche Audi or VW and i'm happy

Go with the Vulcan, it's what I'm getting.. hehe I already own a Vulcan 500 and it's nice, got the same motor as the Ninja on it. But as far as the bigger ones go, I know about 20 people who switched to them from Harleys and WILL NOT go back to a Harley, they hate them now. They all say the Vulcan is the better bike. eGo

Which one? They have on here that's got a HUGE ass muffler on it.. It's bigger that the Honda Shadow VLR 1800s muffler! It's like 2 coffee cans stuck together or somethin' it's sweet ass!

i beleive his is a 1300- the only thing i didnt like is his bars- but then im used to clip-ons

So teh R-32 will be mine.. Or Maybe when i am 18 i'll find a Nice Skyline in the USA Thats cheap Like 20-30k

Guy I work with just picked up his new 1600 Vulcan , beautiful cruiser! That Victory Vegas is a nice one too, the other Victory(older stuff) suck pretty bad though. As far as sportbikes go, the new Suzuki GSXR romps on anything in it's class, including the R-1, like close to 15 more hp too. But for pure adrenaline rush, nothing beats the Suz Haybusa or the Kawi ZX-12. Stock 1/4 mile times in the 9's, 180+ mph.

good luck trying to find it in the US for that cheap

and you do know that all skylines (unless modified when in the states) have the driverside on the right side of the car instead of the left?
and what about insurance? i think those are considered exotic cars cause they are all imported
not to mention that most of the time they were detuned when brought in (i think it was about 550 or 600hp stock)

if your mom does end up buying you one.....you BETTER be good to her for the rest of your life.
