I just went outside to turn on my car, and when I tapped the gas pedal, it turned off?? I restarted it and tapped the gas pedal again...And it did the same thing..HUH?? Anyways, I let it warm up and it's fine now, but anybody have any ideas?? Carb maybe?? BTW it's a 98 Galant...Thanks for any help..

I didn't pump it, I put the car in gear first, then she died....This morning I let her warm up and it was fine. I'm getting it checked out later-

Carb? In a 98 galant? Nah. Thats a fuel injected motor there bro. Check all filters, spark plugs, wires, fuel pressure, etc. Has it been cold lately? As in outside temp?

OOPPS!! I meant MAS, but anyways it's not the temp here....I think the sensor is bad in the thing but I'll have to do more looking around....Later-
