Will eventually get a vintage air kit. Just not in the works for now. With Christmas right around the corner, the car will be sitting unless I can score some side jobs and put back a little play money. Doubtful as everyone is tighter than a violin during the holidays.

And we have a frame....slowly but surely getting there.

Due to the super high humidity here right now (raining cats and dogs) the paint is taking FOREVER to harden. My neighbor came over last night and planted his butt right on the frame.....bad idea lol....

Enamel.

its so humid here right now its taking forever to cure. I had to reshoot one spot and it reacted since its half cured :( So now wait a week or so, sand the spot and reshoot the whole thing again probably. Damn the luck.

Wow. I love how it's all coming together. Save all your pics & keep taking more. Would make for a nice little presentation when it's all done.

Well I decided that 1-3 upshifts are crap....Factory shifter was a pita to hit 2nd gear before and after trolling CL found a shifter for cheap. Turned out ok for a late night of adult beverages lol

I need to clean out the inside of the car. With it looking like a dump is killing my motivation..

Just need to order the upper dash, mod the main dash for autometer gauges in the center, paint them both hugger orange, and weld them back in. Will use rivets on the front leading edge of the dash so it doesnt smoke the new paint and Im a bit leery of welding inside the car with the interior being new....

It looks like it's coming along. Are you going to replace the steering wheel with something closer to original? The front clip turned out nice too. Thanks for the updates. They remind me why I only look at older cars but not own them. LOL.

Will deffo swap out the steering wheel later. Probably one of those billet ones. Will need provisions for a few push buttons on them......N2O purge, and transbrake later down the road. Going to have a powerglide built later down the road if I dont do it myself and put a brake in it.

Im really trying to thin this fat bird down. if I can get down to 3100# with me in it would be great...but I may have to shed some beer belly for that lol.
