I'm amazed that those only get 37 MPG. There are now many gas engine only cars that do better than that and then Hybrids get better still.

Those things are the biggest automotive joke ever and those who bought them didn't do their homework first. Many cars get better mileage than those, have better warranties and are larger, safer.Pugsley wrote:the funny thing is its still bigger then a smart and manages to get better mileage!

Pretty sure I read that the Smart Electric is about the slowest car ever built, like 0-60 in over 20 seconds. I could never deal with any slow car ever, too damned unsafe for the real world.

The ONLY Smart dealer nearby dumped Smart and switched to Fiat when they first arrived here. The closest and only Smart dealer in this state is in Madison now.
