I like how it is a maxima vs an sentra. I have the sam maxima, great cars, and when I had my accident in it it was great.
Yea, her car dosnt look to bad really. like others said buy it back and part it out or see if it can be repaird.
Glad she is OK, that is the most important part.

The car manufacture probable does that on purpose.
It is so it causes more damage to the car, so more are deemed totaled, so they sell more!!!
Really, it is probably to soften the blow incase someone’s head was to hit it

without a witness it'll be very difficult or impossible to win...but i wish her the best. best case will be to break even and just have each insurance company cover their client.

the one good thing we have is the fire fighters marked where the two cars ended up, and by that you can tell she was not in the driving lane and looked to be in the parking lane

I assume the first photo shows the cars near the curb. That might help.
Pass. side airbags deploy upwards first then back. It reduces neck injuries, particularly fatal ones that can occur when a person is right on top of the bag cuz they are not wearing belts. Windshields aren't that expensive

So the other chick did admit that she did not look she she pulled away from the curb. So our insurance is trying to fight the fault, make it more 50/50
