I have my doubts that it'll be for sale to the public due to potential liabilities, problems, etc but the idea's interesting:

I watched the video and this looks harder to install than they are presenting. This would have to be professionally installed but it could work. The most difficult part I see is getting the accelerator to work with the existing engine and this electric motors.

I read about this on my car forum and I did the math, in my Magnum it would take me about 6 months to recoup the cost, after that I'd be saving money.. But I can't see this getting a 2 ton car an extra 10mpg.... Would be nice though..

Ok so they are doing it with wheel motors. Didn't somebody make a bolt on belt driven accessory that did the same thing years ago?
