boat suckage
get have my boat pulled out of the lake about a month and 1/2 early this year. but not going to pay 3 times to have it hauled in and out this late in the season. as of right now im think the impeller took a big pooper on me. its a small plastic part but i have to drop the lower unit by the prop to replace a $10 part. but it could also be the water pump and thats only a $40 repair kit but eather way the boats got to be out of the water to repair. both are 3-4 hour repair jobs on my outboard.
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me.

well turned into a 1 1/2 repair the rubber impeller was bad - had a repair kit installed. lower unit /prop sec. removed and new gaskets/seals replaced boat had to be pulled up to he house and set on 4 cylinder blocks with 4-4 ft pieces of treated 2x4. to do the repair so like i thoght its dry docked for the season. glad I had a service guy do the repair as he found some blockages in the water cooling system I would of over looked. he hooked a garden hose up and we ran the motor and he got water coming out place's .I didn't know it need to flow out of .found a broken & clogged rubber hose and another clogged rubber hose. bottom line was $300.00 trailering , parts and labor later its fixed. 2.5 hours total tryed using a electric trolling motor to bring the boat from the dock to the boat ramp . but the wind was to much. had to start the outboard motor with bad water pump . drive it to the ramp and onto the trailer.
