I understand airlines charging for checked baggage. but to charge you for carry on bags this to me is bit much. (you can carry a small like laptop bag -16 x 14 x 12"max that will fix under the seat in front of you for free.(great for a day trip)
(i always travel for 3 days or longer and this wont work at all for me. even if i used the vacuum sucking bags that claim to save space on TV ).
a carry one bag - 22 x 18 x 10" will cost you $20.00 if you join there $9.00 club. but if your not a member it jumps up to $30.00 prepaid when you buy your ticket and $45.00 if you arrive at the airport and not prepaid for a carry on bag. this is total BullSh.t that spirit airlines doing. im flying Delta even if it cost me $10 -$20 more round trip.
WHO FLY SPIRIT ANY MORE if there a choice ?

the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me.

we booked w/spirit very early in the yr, so when they came out w/their notice o' charging for the larger carry-on bag, that cost got "grandfathered", 'n' we did not have to pay that.
if u can find flights on delta or any other airline for only $10-$20 more, i would be pleasantly surprised : )

I think they should charge for carry on that is too big. It slows loading and unloading of passengers. If everybody checked anything bigger then a laptop then it would be a hell of allot faster to get everybody on the plane. On top of that, you would not have to put you laptop at your feet, there would be room up top for it. It pisses me off to no end seeing the shit that people don't check.
Southwest is proof, 2 bags free, most flights have plenty of overhead space. What gets me is that TSA is supposed to limit the stuff you take past security, but they don't. I see people all the time with 2 huge carry ons and a purse/laptop. It clogs op the chekpoints and overhead storage and slows boarding when people are running up and down the isle looking for space when half the plane still needs to board.
