Star Trek Discovery

Post by FlyingPenguin »

Just finished watching the first three episodes of the season. Plots are okay, but what's driving me crazy is the stupid flamethrowers on the bridge when they take damage. It's the 32nd century, but somehow we have propane leaks on the bridge? Yeah, it's explained as plasma conduit leaks, but it looks like an 80s rock concert.

There is also no sound in space. The only movie I saw that had no sound in space was Interstellar.

And there's no oxygen so we really shouldn't see so many raging fires. When it comes to movies or shows in space, I get irritated by some of the not-so-special effects.
