Champion Gunslinger Rates 10 Quick-Draw Scenes In Movies And TV Shows | How Real Is It?

Post by FlyingPenguin »

I thought she was going to mention that the shooting double for The Mandalorian is an actual quick draw artist, which I learned from the behind the scenes (they use two doubles, the other is a stunt double). I thought maybe she would know the guy who doubles for quick draw scenes.

As an aside, I have a couple of friends who are quick draw competitors. I've visited their ranch a few times and they have a quick draw range setup with the same audio timers used for contests. A buzzer goes off which starts the timer, and the sound of your gun firing stops the timer. These people who do this professionally are incredibly fast.
