Netflix has more money than God. Couldn't they hire some talent?

This looks like something out of a PS3 era cut scene. They should've stuck with 2D and hires the folks that did the Blade Runner Anime short film.

Yeah when it was first announced I was excited then as info came out I was let down. We will see if its any good. Hell the old CGI Appleseed movies looked about as good if not better than this and that was a long time ago.

I hope the writing is good. It just sucks because CGI has come a long way and can now look very good.

Land of the Lustrous (2017) is entirely CGI. I'd like see this team take a stab at GITS.

As long as the story and tech is strong I can overlook the bad animation and still enjoy it.

Land of the Lustrous was pretty good. Waiting for season 2.

Yeah back when Surrogates was out I was hoping for a GITS vibe from it but it failed on all fronts. That movie could have been so much more.
