Finally watched this the other night - rented the DVD from Netflix. Incredible cinematography.
The movie has a "a slow walk through Hell" feel, like Saving Private Ryan. Stunning visuals. Some very grim but beautiful scenes like night time in a destroyed town.
I need to watch it again though, because I was too busy watching for the edits and figuring out how the hell they got a camera to follow the actors in some scenes, and it did distract me a bit from appreciating the story. I'm definitely ordering the Blu-ray, although even on DVD it was stunning.
