IMHO, Lucas should have made Star Wars like they did with Lord of the Rings, where all 3 films were shot together, then released one each year. The only new Disney SW movie that I like was Rogue 1. Solo sucked. The Force Awakens was okay. The Last Jedi did not suck but I also did not like it. Maybe there simply have been too many SW movies, and people are getting burned out. It was really disappointing that Solo sucked. That could have been a great spin off series, but the issue with different directors in the middle of the movie really screwed it, and the plot simply did not jell. Combined that with minimal character development at the start, weird love story, the film failed to deliver as promised. I only went to see it because the wife wanted to. She finally admitted that it was not that good.

i gave up on star wars a long time ago they made it two drawn out . even the characters actor look a likes or similares . are to far off in a lot of the films maybe im asking to much . totally different movie but sure wish the sequel to Avatar get released .

In my universe there is only one Star Wars movie - the first one.

Liked the 3 originals. I also liked the ewok movie when I was a kid. Hard to find it these days.

I too liked the original 3, with the very first one being my favorite.
The newer stuff is lacking the magic those had.
