I don't want to sound sexist, but while she's an attractive woman she's not curvy, sexy and menacing looking like the Lara Croft we're used to. She looks too skinny, and yeah I'll go there: she doesn't have the patented Lara Croft bust. Her hips are so narrow I can't get excited about seeing her with low-slung gun holster (or are they taking those away too?).

I'm sorry but she does not have any muscle tone at all to play that part. I see another failed movie on the horizon.

Wow, yeah, way to stick figured for Laura.

Laura Croft is the female Indiana Jones. She should look like she can kick your ass or shoot you. This woman doesn't look like she could fire a Desert Eagle or throw a punch.

Unfortunately, this movie won't fail financially. The studio will make money worldwide (especially in China) and will make several sequels. I bet the first movie spends 1.5 hours on her origin story and then about 30 minutes with her in an actual tomb. The ending will be a chase scene with her outwitting the bad guys. Since they are attempting to make the movie off of the rebooted game, it's going to suck. One of the problems I had with the story in the first rebooted game was how quickly Laura turned from not wanted to kill to kill everything. I wish Hollywood would stop making origin stories. Make the movie like Raiders of the Ark.
