I also believe the full Blu-ray remastered set is coming out or may already be out of the originals. They gave them the StarTrek treatment and went back to the original film for scanning.

Finally saw the first run last night, and it continues right were they left off. Recorded the second one last night to watch it tonight.

Mixed feelings. The acting felt a little stilted. The plot a little rushed. Not sure how I feel about the major plot point and whether or not it negates past episode plots. Still it was fun to see them together again.

we watched the 1st episode on demand the other night, and we agree, FP, ~ the acting did feel off, ~ particularly w/ 'Mulder'.

{ I'm not "allowed" [ lol ] to watch the 2nd episode 'til hubby's around to watch it w/me,, : ) }

well,, after the 3rd episode, hubby { a die-hard X-Files fan}, said it got too silly for him to watch anymore; I know they were aiming for a "light" version, but it was too silly even for me,,,

I agree, but i haven't seen the 3rd yet. The second one...well...

i'll give it one last chance and watch the next episode on demand when he's not around, 'cause I know he's not going to sit through another episode, that's for sure,,

well,, we're back to watching it now, since I let him know the 4th episode was much more doable than the 3rd episode
