Rotten Tomatoes gives it 87%. Wife and I REALLY enjoyed it. It's not fast paced, but if you're a Sherlock Holmes fan and want to enjoy an interesting "What if?" compelling drama, this is about a 94 year old Sherlock Holmes who is suffering from memory lapses and trying to write a book about his last case 30 years earlier that caused him to retire, and his attempts to remember why.

Holmes is played brilliantly by Ian McKellen.

we're Sherlock Holmes fans but for us it was just an "okay" film,,
I did like the relationship between Holmes and young lad, though
