I was okay with the first even though it was absolutely absurd that Kirk would get fast track command of the Enterprise when he was fresh out of the academy and technically still an Ensign.
Wasn't crazy about the last one (plot holes large enough to drive a bus through).
This one looks like it's on the "Jump the Shark" track. Traditionally you don't destroy the Enterprise until the movie franchise is dying...

I'm worried about this one...the style so far is more Fast and Furious rather than Trek...

This looks a lot more like a The Trek And The Furious....
This movie looks terrible, and who is this Justin Lin? Does he even know what Star Trek is? I'll wait to see this one on the boob-tube.

Justin Lin directed the Fast and Furious Movies.
I can't wait until they make "2 Trek 2 Furious: Romulan Drift."

Well on the positive side, I guess I won't be tortured with scenes containing giant CGI mechanical rooms full of big tanks that would be ripped from their mounts every time the ship lurches...

WOW!
I can honestly say that for the first time that I've NOT looked forward to seeing the next Star Trek movie.

Pegg, Abrams Talk Issues With "Star Trek"

Disappointed with that first trailer for "Star Trek Beyond"? You aren't the only one.
Simon Pegg, who co-wrote the screenplay and reprises his role of Scotty in the film, tells UK site HeyUGuys that he wasn't happy with that first trailer and asks that long-term fans of the franchise "be patient" for the finished film...
