I watched it this afternoon in 3D. Admittedly a bit less than stellar story line but the CGI was amazing. There were a few spots where the graphics suffered but even then it was better than anything that preceded it.

I felt it was well worth the money.

Good to hear it's not horrible. I've heard this dubbed James Cameron's Waterworld.

Saw it last night in 3D. I was hoping to get tickets for IMAX version, but it was sold out so we went with the standard 3D.

The amount of detail that has gone into bringing this movie and new world alive is very impressive, and it will probably be a while before we see anything that can overtakes it in scope and quality. I'm still in awe about this movie as I have never seen anything like it before - truly amazing! :s mile

For those that have not seen it yet, you must see it in 3D. I'm going to go see it again in a couple of weeks but in IMAX version.

Well, maybe I wasn't intended to see this movie after all. There weren't any show times left yesterday after we got done with dinner & it's the only night we've had anyone watch the kid in weeks.

Saw it in 2d last night. I thought it was pretty good. You could hardly tell most of it was CGI.

My brother and I were going to see it this afternoon, but again they are sold out. This is going there 5 hours before the start to get tickets, so I'll have to wait another week or two before trying IMAX again.

saw it last night...the movie itself was great. one of the people with me got motion sickness about 40 min into it, so that kind of ruined the fun a bit...but that's not the movie's fault.

Saw it last night - truly awesome effects and decent plot. this movie really gets you wound up. G/F couldn't do the glasses for more than 15 minutes, got nauseous, which was too bad.

I also really enjoyed the Alice #D trailer with Johnny Depp! That is a must see!
