Need to buy new speaker kit for my DVD but it MUST be fully removable ie pack it away.
So the proper AV amp and a full set of floor standers is out OK?

Can get it here in UK for sensible money (£370)

But are all the reviews that rave about it actually right?

Would appreciate your input guy, thanks a lot

:)

I've heard the subs on the Videologic DTS tend to start buzzing after a short time but that problem may have been fixed by now.

As for the price someone at work I know bought the DD5.1 kit for about £220 so the DTS shouldn't be much more...maybe add another £30-£40...

My mates quite happy with his but If you can get a separate amp and speakers....try Richer Sounds for end of line stuff..you should get a better sounding bit of kit for not a lot more...

I was thinking that but..

......the worry for me is that the space taken up by some real speakers and the amp etc is not space I have to spare. My girlfriend won't be that pleased if the living room is dominated by 3 foot Celestion spekers, a centre speaker and a separate amp. The idea is to watch movies on my day off when the neighbours are out real loud, and then pack it all away again.

I can get a nice Kenwood and som re quality speakers, plus real cable, and use my kef Coda 7's (already on the wall)for the back speakers. Thing is where do I then put all the stuff? I aint leaving it out cos:
a. It is visible through the wibdow to would be thieves
b. The dogs might chew it up
c. If thieves get in and my dogs chew THEM up I will get sued!

So, I have read some pretty good reviews and it would seem it is more DVD orientated than the PC targetted systems that they have done in the past.

I am truly tempted by the real thing but its got no where to be stored whereas this jobbie will fit under the stairs!

Wanna hear from people who like or loathe it before I buy!
