They Call Me Trinity!

Post by blade »

Anyone remmber the Trinity movies? You'd probably have to be over 40 unless you saw them on TV. They started in the late 60's to early 70's and were some of the most funny westerns you'll ever see.

The one immortal scene has Trinity facing off against a bad guy in a saloon. Trinity hits him on top of his head, quickly pulls and points his gun at him, then just as quickly slaps the guy, pulls and points his gun again. It kept on and on. :D Rides his horse laying back even.

Was watching Cnn and in a commercial they had that scene. That prompted me to put them in my netflix queue. Sadly though, from reading the reviews it appears the transfers are poor. Some movies stand the test of time well while some don't. Guess I'll find out soon.

They are all mostly Italian made and dubbed to English. Kind of a comedy takeoff of Eastwoods original speghetti western trilogy.

A similar and extended and even more hysterical scene was in "My Name Is Nobody". Came on AMC earlier today. Same main star (Terrence Hill) with Henry Fonda. Laughed me tail off. :jester :s mackme :lmao
