Different director and the Jill character is added and she looks mighty hot in the previews. :w ow

I know many fans of the RE games didn't care much for Resident Evil. I never played the games, but loved the movie so I'm looking forward to this one. Plus, it's almost like Milla as Leeloo. :d

One bad thing, she isn't wearing the red mini in RE2. :( But the Jill character is wearing a mini anyway. :o

And what is quickly becoming standard for a sequel, release a new Deluxe Edition of the first movie and get a ticket to see RE2.

When I saw AvP, they had a huge 3-D poster of the above pic in the lobby. At least 10 feet tall.

Starts September 10

Jill: I'm good, but I'm not that good
Alice is back and with a little help from the research team at the Umbrella Corporation she's one bad chick. More zombies than you can shake a stick at and enough action here to entertain most any of us. She's joined this time around with help from Jill Valentine, a rogue cop from the Racoon city PD and a few others that round out the current entourage. And she'll need all the help she can get to face Nemesis

Some of the fight scenes are shot a little too tight making it hard to see the action. I also found some of the flashbacks unnecessary but that may also be because I saw the first movie and didn't feel the need for the recap.

The story line is a little on the thin side but what movie of this kind isn't? The action does help to make up for it though. Even though I don't have any experience with the game I have been told that this episode does stay a bit more on track with video game which should make the games fans happier this go around.

Big disappointment to me. :( Jill, the best part, was way underused and the story suked and the effects were so-so at best.

And too dark. Even Milla came across more like a robot. Bad directing.
