ok, I had seen it in the theatier and picked up the dvd.
Movie is pretty good.
DVD is under 3 hours...but its a swaper! Who the hell thought it was gana be a good idea to make you swap a DVD in the middle of a movie! I mean its one thing if its to long to fit on a dvd...that is fine...but this is RETARDED and annoying!

Even if you think the movie looks like crap, it's worth watching it for Daniel Day Lewis...his performance is beyond belief. Truely amazing.

I have a multi disk dvd player also, but I dont use it much cause its in the other room.
This is Still stupid though. Movie is NOT long enough to require the dvd to be swaped.
Anyways, its still a good movie.

takes us like a week to finish a movie, so it doesn't matter
2/3 of the wya through this movie now, DD Lewis has the role of a lifetime !

I just saw it last night. I agree, the swap is stupid, because they could've made disc 2 all extras, instead of half and half. The movie was fuckin awesome, though. I am glad I put it on my netflix list!!

finally finshed it - would have liked the end to be the big fight, hten the soldiers, but i guess thay ran out of $$
daniel day lewis should get an oscar for that one

hmmmm weird two disc set for 3 hour movie, my brother got a copy of oscars preview screening of couple movies, one of the was gangs of new york. The entire movie on one dvd, only thing i could think of is the quaility much higher or is it that special features make it two disc set.
two disks = two rentals
