This movie was okay in my book, i believe it should have had more of plot then just special effects and crazy blowing up stuff. Some of the lines of Terminator were corny. I dont see part 4 coming from the same producer.

Sure, maybe it isn't as good as 1 & 2, seemed to have more action than plot, but it surely had more of a story than a lot of action movies lately (heck of a lot better than the 2 hour music video called Charlies Angels 2). I thought it was a very good movie and well worth seeing at the theatre. The ending is interesting and kinda surprising. If you're a Terminator fan I don't think you'll be disappointed as long as your not expecting it to be better than the others.
I still haven't seen Hulk so I can't compare.
Its gonna flop after opening weekend.
I don't think it will, but we'll see...

WHen I first heard about it, I thought cool. When I heard the evil terminator was a women, I thought that it would blow. After seeing it, I can honestly say it was worth my money....better than, say, the Hulk which I've also seen. I didn't like the actor that played John Connor and his "side-kick" or whatever you wanna call her....dunno what it was?
However, I liked the ending, probably the best part. I was discussing this with a friend and we agreed that if it didn't end the way it did, it wouldn't have been nearly as good.

I thought it was damn good. The story kinda reminded me in many ways of the first one.
And no annoying bratty edward furrlong from t2. And because of that I'll own this DVD. I thought Nick Stahl was darn good as John Conner and that chick was good too. Actually, both chicks were good.
Arnie did well. And I didn't think the lines were too corny. They seemed to fit in quite well.
One thing that had me up for this movie which I didn't realize till last night. The director also directed Breakdown and U-571, 2 very good movies that I thought were directed very well and had good stories to go along with the action. T3 is just like that. Good story which doesn't get lost in the action.
*possible spoilers below* don't ya hate that
Last chance.
I like naked chix.
err uh, We still didn't see John Conner turn into the leader he is suppose to be. Obviously they hope for another sequel, if this one does well enough. That fact and the way it ended.
And remember, "talk to the hand"

My wife and I just came back from seeing it, and I thought it was damn good. I already have the other previous 2 DVDs, so I'll be getting this one. The special effects were excellent, specially when the terminator x got stuck on the particle beam because of the magnetic field. Arnold looks great for a 55 year old man. They left it open for another movie.

yes, I think it was good, fit the story!
but, if there is a 4, it can't wait another 10 years...
Arnold will be to old, and it won't be the same with out him!

Saw it again today with a friend.....I gotta say I liked it just as much as the first time around...if not better. The actor that plays John Conner has grown on me, I think he did a fine job now. The chick, well, she's not too bad really.
Really love the end....it's killer.
On a side note, I hate sitting next to black people

Sorry, but I've not sit next to a single black women who hasn't opened up a bag of chips at the beginning and always has to add their own comments like "ow!" "ewww!" "wow!" "phew!" etc.......oh well, it wasn't too destracting.

yea. good movie. but there were a few things I didnt like about it and they were: more of an action flic then a action/think flic, far less background on the termernatrix the the previus termator models, the acting of the chick termator was only good not great, and a few other things like not enough info on whats going on in the future (I mean we have these awsome PC's with great digital stuff that we didnt have with the earlier termators yet they did less of it this time).
Anyways I really liked the movie.

I'll be damned, but I did enjoy the film for the most part... Watchin' Silberman bust his ass out of there when he saw his "old friend" was priceless...
It looks like someone else liked the film as well...

From
Dark Horizons
Terminator 3 & Alien 5: James Cameron recently talked with BBC1 and revealed he's very happy with how Terminator 3 ended up: "In one word : Great. There was a small part of me that hoped it wasn't good - but another part of me hope'd it succeeded. And it did. And I'm so glad it did. Jonathon's made a great movie. Arnold's in great form. I really like what he's done with it". If he had done it, would he have handled it differently: "Yes. That's only natural. I mightn't have structrued it the same, nor may I have ended it the same way - but coming in where he has, such a hard thing to do, and I give Jonathan points for it".
This isn't a man whose going to whitewash his opinion either, take for example his reaction to "Alien 3" - "Hated it. Simple as that. I hated what they did.... I couldn't stand Alien 3 - how they could just go in there and kill off all these great characters we introduced in aliens, and the correlation between mother and daughter. It stunk, but hopefully I'll get a chance to rectify all that". You mean the talk about him being tied to "Alien 5" is true? "To an extent. yes. We're looking at doing another one. Something similiar to what we did with Aliens. A bunch of great characters, and of course Sigourney. I've even discussed the possibility of putting him [Arnold Schwarzenegger] into the Alien movie". Thanks to 'Ryan'.

I wish it had more story too, maybe another 20-30 minutes explaining everything more, and the characters. I think they tried to make it too fast paced and therefore cut a lot out. But, wait for the DVD.
Robert Patrick is still the best. They could have played more on the female terminator sexiness to make her more interesting.
You mean the talk about him being tied to "Alien 5" is true? "To an extent. yes

ow
The first 2 were the best, 3 suked major league, 4 was so so at best. He's been talking about doing another Aliens for years, I hope he does. He originally wanted to do Aliens on earth, but the budget didn't allow for it.
