Car Amp Question

Post by goobee »

Not sure if this is appropriate for this forum but given that it's about music, what the hell. :)

I am looking for a nice 5 channel amp for my car. I'm thinking about the PYLE PLA1585, it seems to have decent power and specs. Most importantly, it fits my budge of ~$150.00 for an amp. Any opinions or perhaps suggestions?

Thanks.

I don't want to go thru the hassle of mounting and wiring multiple amps.

pyle is exactly that, i pile of shit- you get what you pay for in car audio
i run clarion and memphis amps with mephis subs and planet audio componets

if you are wanting only one amp your gonna have to get a good one or all youll have is distortion because runnign 5 channels on the mosfets is demanding, cheap amps wont do it a high volume without tons of clipping

I guess I'll just reinstall my 2 ancient Alphsoniks amps (4 channel @ 25w) and (2 channel bridge @ 200w) into my new car until I have more cash. :(
